First Impressions entry (correctly formatted) has been sent in. Yah!

Back to the hard work on completing the novel. I’ve done about 23,000 of the projected 65,000 words now.

So, work almost half finished not work half-unfinished, right??

Lord, let my words be filled with love. Let me write the truth in love so that perhaps someone may come to know You. That is my highest ambition.

OK, so I'm goofing around a bit before getting to work on my novel today

I didn't work on my novel because...

We’re on the last leg of our journey home from the Great Smoky Mountains. I was sad to leave that beauty behind. But I have gotten some writing done while on the car ride. A bit over 350 words so far today!

Life continues to interrupt my writing, but that’s OK. I’m enjoying the Smokey Mountains and storing up great material for later.

Yesterday I wrote 250 words while relaxing on the porch swing!

What a life ;-}

I could get used to living in the mountains again.

My streak has ended. But I almost reached my word goal for today 

And tomorrow is another day

I exceeded my word count goal today:

2053

(Goal: 2000)

I now have a one day success streak!

OK, three act structure complete.

But wait there’s more! Now to review 21 pages on honing my craft before I begin the 30 day marathon of writing.

The good news is that I am still on fire to complete this project.

Act Two- Practically done

Act Three- Well on it’s way!

Almost finished with my three act structure. I have completed my research, for now.

A New Beginning

After many false starts I am setting out to write in ernest. To help me with this goal, I am posting a blog where I will hold myself accountable and so will many of my friends ;-}

Most of my "pre-writing" work is complete for a brand new story. With prayer and worship I set out to finish a manuscript in 30 days.
